公路桥梁橡胶支架是由多层橡胶片和刚性的加劲物(主要包括薄钢板或者是钢筋、钢丝网)构成,同时橡胶与加劲物之间为了可以连接的更加牢固,通常运用涂胶、加压硫化的处理方法。一般情况下公路桥梁橡胶支架没有能够抵挡侧向位移,所以为了防止因为横向力或者是桥梁斜交二导致的侧向位移,—通常需要进行横向限位处理公路桥梁橡胶支架与支撑结构物。

公路桥梁橡胶支架的病害主要包括以下几方面:
(1)公路桥梁橡胶支架的剪切变形和压缩变形太大。导致公路桥梁橡胶支架压缩或者是剪切变形太大的主要因素有支座的安装质量、支架的本身质量和桥梁的设计施工。如果公路桥梁橡胶支架本身质量就存在问题,抗压弹性模量或者是抗剪弹性模量指标没有达到设计要求,导致公路桥梁橡胶支架的竖向变形太大,给桥梁结构带来安全的威胁。另外如果个别橡胶支架有脱空等病害的出现,则有可能导致其他支座受力太刀造成变形。桥梁结构安装环境太高或太低,造成混凝土胀缩和徐变,再或者是设计桥梁纵坡太大,都可能给公路桥梁橡胶支架的变形过大造成印象。
(2)支架脱空。公路桥梁橡胶支架与桥梁的上部结构的底面或者是支座与下部的垫石之间出现缝隙是支座脱空的具体表现。造成脱空的因素很多,支座垫石标准高度控制不准确,垫石强度太低造成受压破碎和梁体伸缩太大都有可能导致板式橡胶支座脱空的出现。

(2) The bracket is empty. The gap between the rubber support of highway bridge and the bottom of the upper structure of the bridge or between the bearing and the lower cushion stone is the specific performance of bearing void. There are many factors causing the void, such as inaccurate control of the standard height of the bearing pad stone, too low strength of the pad stone resulting in crushing and too much expansion of the beam body, which may lead to the void of the plate rubber bearing.
(3)公路桥梁橡胶支架内部加劲物外漏。公路桥梁橡胶支架内部的钢板或者钢筋网等加劲物外露是这种病害的具体表现。导致这种病害发生的主要因素是因为钢板或钢丝网等加劲物位置不对,导致外侧的保护层厚度过薄,当公路桥梁橡胶支架发生裂缝或是严重老化后,就会导致钢板外露的现象
(4)支座表面开裂。公路桥梁橡胶支架的表面出现水平裂缝或者是网状裂纹这种病害的表现,当公路桥梁橡胶支架的裂缝宽度大于0.2cm时,即为严重裂缝,一定要进行处理。导致公路桥梁橡胶支架表面开裂主要因素是因为橡胶支座质量不好或者是养护措施不对,造成橡胶支架老化丧失作用。
